About us
In May 2012, after many requests, we opened our brand new Riding School. All the hard work preparing for our licensing assessment was worth it when we were presented with our first licence. Lessons for beginners to advanced and children are available. With horses & ponies ranging from 11 - 17hh, novice to advanced in ability we have something for everyone. So if the Olympics have inspired you to start riding or take it up again, give us a call.
We offer excellent training facilities suitable for a multitude of sports and past times. Turbury Indoor Arena and Cross Country Course are suitable for events and demonstrations. We’ve had Side Saddle, Le Trec and Equine Assisted Learning demos where part of the Arena/field can be cordoned off for spectator seating with light refreshments available in our ‘Riders’ Retreat’ cabin.
With Gymkhana, Flyball (yes we cater for dogs too) Events and Rugby training all adding an exciting dimension to our calendar.
So if your club/group is looking for a training or event venue give us a call: - bring your own Instructor/Trainer or host your own event/demonstration using our facilities including our refreshments cabin and spectator seating.
